Meissen Dennis Lewon to head up new Glamping Magazine

Word on the street is that Dennis Lewon may leave his post at Backpacker to head up the recently launched Glamping magazine. Glamping is a form of glamorous camping as reported on in the USA Today, ABC News and the LA Times. Dennis was quoted saying, “I have always considered camping sort of glamorous and over the years have grown sick of sleeping on the ground.”

  1. It’s true about Dennis. Absolutely true. And what a great opportunity for him! Me, no, I’m not bitter about not getting the job, why would you ask? I clearly wasn’t glamp enough for it. Dennis, however, he is a shining beacon of glampiness, a true pioneer and a role model for all of us who aspire to who aspire to fall asleep within sight of the woods, having visited a silk tent at some point during the day, while the soft sounds of gentle rain drift from the mp3 player next to our king-sized canopy bed.
